Q. Can I drop of a DPF for cleaning without an appointment.

A. We would prefer that you booked your DPF to be cleaned. We carry out our cleaning process in turn and depending on our resources, you may have to wait longer to receive your cleaned DPF.  Please call us or use our request a DPF clean  form on this website.

Q. Do you remove and refit the DPF unit on your vehicle.

A. We do not remove of refit the DPF from your vehicle. It is up to you to organize this service.
 

Q. How would I deliver the DPF unit to your premises?

A. All sensors should be carefully removed from the DPF for cleaning carefully making the sensors & noting  the position of each sensor (please keep the sensors - we will not accept units that do not have the sensors removed), and the DPF should be either delivered personally or by courier well packed so it does not get damaged in transit. We do not take any responsibility for units lost or damaged in transit.

Q. Do you offer a while you wait inspection or cleaning service.
 

A. We do not offer a while you wait service as all our DPF cleaning services are done in turn using our procedures. Our aim is to provide a 2 business day turnaround from receiving your DPF filter.

Q. Is there any warranty on the cleaning service?
 

A. The filter is cleaned and tested before dispatch with the test results printed and attached to your invoice. The efficiency of the exhaust flow through the cleaned filter would be very close to that of a brand new filter.

As mentioned in our why Dpf's block page  the root cause of the DPF blocking should be rectified first before the cleaned filter is reinstalled. We recommend a new filter fitting kit to be used during re installation to make sure there are no exhaust leaks. Then you would need to run a full forced regeneration procedure on your vehicle before it is ready for use and follow manufacturer’s procedures as if you were installing a new filter. 

There is no warranty if the DPF filter is returned in a blocked/damaged state, and or the above procedures were not followed.
